December month is all about Sharing and Caring

December is a month for being kind, caring, and doing good deeds, which can bring smiles to those who are in need. We, at The Clay House, celebrate December by spreading kindness in many ways.

Teaching kids to be kind is most important in their early years of learning. It helps them make friends and understand each other’s feelings.

We teach kindness to our little ones by encouraging them to care for people around them, doing various acts of kindness, and telling stories about kindness during their story sessions. We encourage kids to be kind when they see a sad friend—like offering a toy, a smile, or a hug. These small things teach them to care and support each other. Such little acts help them to grow into a kind-hearted person.

At TCH, we encourage simple things like saying ‘thank you’ or sharing toys. These actions encourage good behavior, make them feel happy, and also help them make good friends. Learning about sharing and caring teaches kids that even little things can make a big difference.

We practice small acts of kindness with our little ones in day-to-day life:

• Using magic words with friends

• Sharing toys with friends

• Helping teachers, support staff, and parents with small tasks

• Making a friend smile who is sad

We believe that kindness can change the lives of kids. When we teach kids to be kind, they grow up caring about others and build a world full of love and respect.
